Redondo Beach Homes for Sale

COMMUNITY LINKS

Considered the quintessential California beach town, Redondo Beach is also the most laid-back of the three communities that make up the “Beach Cities” of California. It’s located between Hermosa Beach and the Palos Verdes Peninsula, giving residents the best access to the top attractions and destinations in the area.

Living in Redondo Beach

Redondo Beach offers myriad water activities, including surfing, fishing, sailing, whale watching, standup paddleboarding, and more. Unlike in Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach, the two other Beach Cities, there are fewer homes along the beach, giving it a more expansive and wide open feel.

Toward the southern end of Redondo Beach is Redondo Pier, where you can find a host of excellent seafood restaurants, along with shops and marinas. There’s an esplanade where you can get some of the best sunset views in Southern California. At the northern end of the beach is King Harbor Marina, a privately owned marina with more than 800 boat slips, office and residential buildings, and opportunities for water activities.

Redondo Beach has quite a few parks, including the beachfront Redondo Beach State Park. The downtown area is filled with more shops and restaurants, as well as luxury hotels.

Real estate in Redondo Beach

Real estate in the city is relatively more affordable than in Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach. There are also more Redondo Beach homes for sale, although the number of waterfront homes is quite limited. Nonetheless, wherever you are in the city, you’re no more than a few minutes away from the water.

The charming homes in Redondo Beach come in custom architectural styles, giving each one its own distinct character. In addition to single-family homes, you’ll also find condos and townhomes in a wide array of prices and sizes.
